After Nancy Pelosi is sworn in as the new Speaker of the U.S. House and Harry Reid as Majority Leader of the U.S. Senate, major parts of the American Dream will be shattered. Some parts of that dream will die.

Among the dead parts: The part that is committed to a strong national defense and victory in the war on terror. The part that loves freedom and less government and promotes personal responsibility. The part that recognizes capitalism as the greatest hope for all peoples to escape the yoke of poverty and oppression. The part that holds to the beliefs of our forefathers in a divine and omnipotent being knows as God.

Democrats have not always been so completely anti-American. For instance, on Friday, January 20, 1961, John Fitzgerald Kennedy inspired all of America with an eloquent and powerful inaugural speech.

Among the new president’s most powerful and reassuring words were these:

” Let the word go forth from this time and place, to friend and foe alike, that the torch has been passed to a new generation of Americans—born in this century, tempered by war, disciplined by a hard and bitter peace, proud of our ancient heritage—and unwilling to witness or permit the slow undoing of those human rights to which this Nation has always been committed, and to which we are committed today at home and around the world.

Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe, in order to assure the survival and the success of liberty.

This much we pledge—and more.”

In that same speech, Kennedy delivered this famous line about serving America:

“And so, my fellow Americans: ask not what your country can do for you—ask what you can do for your country.”

Why have Democrats drifted so far from the ideals and principles that President Kennedy spoke of in 1961?

What has changed in 46 years to cause this party to become an avowed enemy of the American people?

Shortage of Virgins in Islamic Heaven?

Adnan el-Shukrijumah, al-Qaida field commander in Afghanistan recently warned Muslims to leave the United States because another major terrorist attack is in the works.

As one who is fascinated by Islam, I admit to being confused by Adnan el-Shukrijumah’s warning. On the one hand, I appreciate the fact that the man is kind enough to warn brothers in the Islamofascist movement of impending doom so that steps can be taken to avoid annihilation.

On the other hand, one of the more appealing aspects of Islam is the promise of 72 virgins commencing with one’s earthly death and ascension into Islamic heaven.

If that promise is true, why would Adnan el-Shukrijumah “warn” the brothers to leave?

It would seem to make better Muslim sense for Adnan el-Shukrijumah to keep that information under his turban. That way, Muslim brothers fortunate enough to be caught up in the next attack could cash in on those carnal blessings promised in the Koran.

Perhaps there is another answer: Is there a shortfall of virgins in Islamic heaven?

Could it be that G.W. Bush and his coalition of infidels have created a virgin supply-demand imbalance by killing so many terrorists? An imbalance that is threatening to shut down the Virgin Redemption Center (VRC) in Islamic heaven?

What a pity that would be. All those horny Islamofascists robbed of their greatest incentive to murder and maim.

But if that is the case, Praise be to Allah!

Those who claim that Barack Obama is not a man of substance apparently do not know the man’s background very well.

It turns out Obama is a man of substance—as in Cocaine and pot, that is.

As reported on the front page of the Washington Post this week, Obama confessed to using pot and cocaine, making him the first presidential candidate to admit using cocaine.

Obama supporters are quick to point out the saving grace for the charismatic Obama: Namely, he did not inhale the cocaine.

All of this is eerily reminiscent of America’s first black president, the dishonorable William Jefferson Clinton.

Lady Frankenstein Comes Back to Haunt Liberal Creator

Cindy Sheehan was the darling of the liberal media and the Democrats when she was making headlines by camping outside President Bush’s ranch in Crawford, Texas.

Sheehan became a national celebrity overnight because of her anti-Bush, anti-America propaganda which was perfectly tailored to fit the liberal’s talking points and the media’s agenda.

Liberals even managed to escalate the pitiable Sheehan into a Nobel Peace prize nominee and, with it, international fame, and glory.

But the liberal version of Frankenstein was created at a time when the only thing Democrats were responsible for was attacking and insulting George W. Bush. Period.

Things have changed dramatically since November 7, and now Democrats are expected to do more than simply blame, bitch, and berate. They are in control now and must produce results or else.

November 2008 is less than two years away, libs, so you better start producing!

That reality came crashing down on the new majority party when Cindy Sheehan and her contingent of outcasts disrupted a Democrat policy meet outside the U.S. House on Wednesday.

Seems as though the anti-war nutcases are none too happy with news that Nancy Pelosi et al. have decided not to cutoff funding for the war, and are not in the mood to impeach George W. Bush. Responsible policy will not be tolerated, says Sheehan!
