Primarily due to America’s problems in Iraq, President Bush has seen his credibility and reputation deteriorate significantly throughout the world. Once feared by our enemies, Bush is now the object of public ridicule and scorn dished out by tinhorn despots.
Mahmoud Ahmadinejad openly mocks Bush and dares him to “Stop me if you can” when it comes to uranium centrifuges and Iran’s “right” to go nuclear.
Korean madman Kim Jong Il launches a dramatic fireworks show on July 4, defiantly upstaging America’s Independence Day celebration.
Venezuela’s Hugo Chavez feigns smelling sulfur while addressing the UN, and jokes that the odor can be traced to the presence of the devil, AKA President Bush, in New York a day earlier.
However, Saddam Hussein’s hanging may precipitate an attitude adjustment in tyrants guilty of “misundersestimating” Bush. Indeed, a new message is being sent, loud, and clear.
That message: Don’t Mess with Texans!
The world will be much safer if jesters like Ahmadinejad, Il, and Chavez heed this new message!

We need to keep in mind that it was the Iraqi people that sentenced and executed Saddam. I am glad to see him go as much as most, but it was done by his own people (as it should have been).

“We need to keep in mind that it was the Iraqi people that sentenced and executed Saddam.”
Perhaps. But how do you explain the label on the noose that read “Made in Crawford, Texas by illegal aliens working for Duyba” ?

4 kidnapped contractors still missing…
As you celebrate the new year, do not forget about the four American security contractors and an Austrian who remain in captivity after their kidnapping in southern, Iraq six weeks ago. The men went missing Nov. 16 when a large…

I am glad to see Saddam go, but I have mixed feelings about it.

Now, who will hang Bush for war crimes?
Or Blair? What about Olmert?

One would have to think there was more of a reason to hang Saddam so quickly than the fact he was a murder of rather large proportions. Even Chiles dictator had the opportunity to die in bed before they had a chance to executed him, so what was the hurry? Maybe it had more to do with what Saddam could have told the rest of the world about how he got those nerve gas agents, the mustard gas, and other “weapons of mass distruction” that we couldn’t seem to find. Or heaven forbid, how he was the charming friend of Republican administrations for years and what that did for the rest of the Iraqi people who found themselves on the wrong side of both the US and Saddam.

Why don’t you go to Iraq and investigate? There’s a conspiracy, conspiracy, conspiracy! Do you have enough kool-aid? Wouldn’t want you to run out!

Foolish people who keep there head in the sand will sufficate from the experience. That isn’t conspiracy, that is a fact. If you think this war in Iraq is about freedom for Iraq, why don’t you go to Iraq and ask them how much more freedom do they feel they can stand before we leave. I have had a good experience in the real world of war, I did two years in Vietnam and I don’t think it is neccessary for me to go throughthat experience again, you are welcome to try it out and see how it feels for yourself however
