I'm in recovery. And the way that hundreds of thousands of us, if not millions, do it is to own up to our weakness and keep "the fingers pointed" at ourselves. This would definitively mean not staking victim status. This: "It shall be called the Recovery Program for overcoming Addiction to Addictions." is kind of dumb. When I had not a pot to piss in and not a dime to my name, let alone a job with benefits or the dough for insurance, I had the doors of a 12-step group open to me. They never asked for a dime and when I could give a buck per meeting, I did. And now I have an enjoyable, productive life and own my own business. I'm an ordinary story, too. Garden variety. It's not that I take offense to your humor, but I think you could use some perspective. It's a great way to live. Peace, Ted Hey. I’m in recovery.
